Delicate

Would you not love to have this hanging from your celing?  Everytime you look up you see delicate drapery.  This post is about beautiful hanging pieces.

Paper lanterns are a fool proof way to bring a dream-like tone to the room or patio.  Plus, they will make the pictures from your party that much cooler.

Hang some links outside to give a vintage-y look.  You'll feel just as if you're living in an Anthropologie catalogue.

Outfit #22

Ah, New York.  The only place you can wear sequined shorts without getting a single look.

Feathers

My friend Jade always has interesting earrings on.  Yesterday she had some lovely feathers dangling from her ears.  I think it makes for a very exotic and fun look, don't you?

Landscape Mania

Here are a jumble of landscapes I did this summer.

This particular painting shown above was done only using a palette knife.  Now, I know that you're thinking to yourself, "This looks like some splatted paint."  Well, stand back and take a look. That's right, walk away from the computer and then look at the painting.  It should look slightly better.

Still Working on Me

My newest self portrait is still in progress, but I could not wait to show it.  I'm trying something new by cutting my face out of paper instead of painting.  This is a 24x30 sheet of paper, so it has been a challenge working on such a large size.  I actually think that adds to the fun of it.

There are two sheets in the picture.  The gray colored sheet is velum paper, while the ivory colored sheet is just Arches.  I hope I can finish it soon!

One Fine Day

My uncle, an ex-Navy SEAL took me on an outing to the shooting range a little bit ago.  Of course, I incorporated some sort of fashion into my day.  Who else can say that their protective eyewear is Chloe?

The giant earmuffs I'm sporting here are so I do not get any hearing loss from the noise of the guns firing.

Here is my hardcore uncle shooting at a potato that is somewhere downrange.
