Ode to Amelie

So today's post focuses on the wonderful movie Amelie.  Not only does it have an adorably catchy soundtrack but the plot is as sweet as creme brulee.   I remember watching it for the first time.  Well, I only had the chance of watching the opening sequence but it was memorable nonetheless.  My professor played it for us in film class and told us to analyze it any which way we wanted to.  Now, this was my first ever film paper so that meant I had no idea what to write about.  Not one of my best.  However, I may have watched this film a good 7 times in one day under the excuse that it was for "academic reasons".  Not entirely true.

The fashion was so 90's but the cinematography and colors made it all okay.  Luscious reds with random traces of blue can be found in almost every shot.  (I put that little note in my paper)

Please Please Please don't go your whole life without watching.  Your inner dreamer will love you for it.

It documents my obsession with cheetah print- I did these lips with some liquid eye liner and a dash of creativity.

Outfit #20

Things have been crazy busy these days.  Finals week, moving out, working on my friend's film for 12 hours a day.  Needless to say, my outfits have been lacking.  But here is what I wore my last day of finals.  I had been painting for a week straight (9 paintings to do in only 6 weeks!)  Pictures of those will be posted soon.

But this outfit was just so comfy to wear- Urban Outfitters top; Tights from TJ Maxx, Nike sneakers (a birthday present from my grandmother), and mom's jewelry
